SummerWood Winery welcomes guests to visit the Tasting Room and experience limited production American Rhône and Bordeaux wines. The inviting SummerWood Tasting Room overlooks the estate’s Cabernet Sauvignon vineyard, with picturesque views of the rolling coastal terrain. The vast lawn and gazebo setting invite you to linger, enjoy a picnic and a glass of SummerWood wine. The boutique features a unique collection of wine accessories, local specialty foods and gift items.
Bar Tasting — Tasting Room Bar
Gather at our tasting room bar for a relaxed and personable introduction to SummerWood. You’ll be guided through five thoughtfully selected wines while engaging in conversation about our estate, winemaking philosophy, and the stories behind each bottle. This experience is ideal for guests seeking a more spontaneous, social, and approachable way to taste.
Seated Tasting — Tasting Room Tables
Settle in for a hosted, 90-minute seated tasting in our welcoming tasting room. Your dedicated wine host will lead you through five SummerWood wines, offering deeper insight into our vineyard practices, winemaking style, and the character of our wines. Upon arrival, choose between our Classic or Reserve flight.
Patio Seated Tasting — Outdoor Patio
Enjoy a leisurely, curated tasting on our outdoor patio overlooking the vineyards. This experience features five SummerWood wines presented with the same attentive hospitality as our indoor seated tasting, enhanced by the beautiful surroundings.
Well-behaved dogs on leash are welcome on the patio. Picnicking is permitted with prior arrangement.
Reserve Wines & Fine Cheeses — Gazebo (Saturdays at 1 PM)
Join us each Saturday at 1:00 PM in our Gazebo for an intimate, elevated reserve tasting experience. You’ll be guided through a flight of our reserve-tier wines alongside carefully selected artisan cheeses, thoughtfully chosen to highlight balance, texture, and structure in both the wine and food.
To preserve the exclusivity of this experience, only one reservation is offered each Saturday, accommodating up to 8 guests. Reservations must be made at least 24 hours in advance.
